Kindest Kid in America is a national social movement with an urgent call to kindness. We celebrate kind kids because they are our future leaders and honoring their natural goodness can make kindness contagious.
Every day, kids across the globe face challenges of bullying, isolation, and negativity. But one kind act can change everything- building confidence, creating friendships, and even transforming entire school communities. That’s why we celebrate kindness. By recognizing and awarding kids who choose compassion and courage, they inspire others to follow their example and multiply the impact.
We believe kindness is powerful enough to prevent hate, stop bullying, and bring communities together. Our mission is to shine a spotlight on kind kids, amplify their stories, and create a national movement where kindness is celebrated, not overlooked.
Our vision is bold: every school, every community, every corner of the earth- united by kindness. By 2026, we aim to have recognized a Kind Kid in every corner of America, as well as 5 different countries. Kindness is contagious.
Our movement is growing — and people are noticing. From parents and teachers to local communities and national media, the Kindest Kid in America is inspiring a wave of positivity across the country.
Kindness grows when we share it. Whether you’re a parent, teacher, student, or community leader, there’s a way for you to join the ripple effect. Stay connected, spread the word, and help us celebrate kind kids across America.
Fill out the nomination form or make your own video to post to your socials. “I nominate _____ because _______.” Tag @kindestkidintheworld and we will repost it on our socials.
Any child in the United States between the ages of 5 and 18 can be nominated. Nominations can come from parents, teachers, friends, or community members who have witnessed the child showing kindness in meaningful ways.
We will reach out to the child’s school to invite them to have a Kindest Kid assembly where we can celebrate the nominated child while simultaneously inspiring the other students to also be kind!
Schools can book an assembly anytime! Our assembly is a blast! There’s upbeat music, we teach important psychology tools about kindness, and we give a challenge where the whole school works together to accomplish 5000 acts of kindness in 5 days! They always knock it out of the park and it gets the kids actively building their kindness muscles.
